The program focuses on developing and enhancing children’s cognitive, sensory, motor, behavioral, social, and communication skills within a group-based environment. It also aims to prepare children for the pre-school stage by encouraging adherence to classroom rules and routines.
The program’s structure is similar to that of a kindergarten. Children begin their day with the morning circle, followed by morning assembly. They then receive early intervention services, through which they are trained in a range of essential skills that are highly important for healthy child development and peer interaction.
The program also includes a dedicated snack/meal time, during which children are taught table manners and independence skills. After that, children receive other supportive services—speech and language therapy and occupational therapy—either in group or individual sessions, depending on each child’s abilities.
